David Christensen is the founder Christensen Law, which has locations in Southfield and Ann Arbor, Michigan. Together with his team of talented trial attorneys, he will stand up for you against insurance providers and other tough defendants.
David has one of the best reputations in the state when it comes to auto accident and brain injury cases. With over 25 years experience, he is a master in helping clients after serious traumatic injuries. He has just the right mix of expertise and compassion to help you in your time of need.
We care deeply for our clients and work hard to get them through these extremely challenging times that follow life changing events.
A resident of Ann Arbor, Michigan, David went to San Francisco State University for his bachelor’s degree before coming to the University of Michigan in 1983 to get a Master’s Degree, and a law degree in 1991. Since then, he has been a regular speaker at state and national continuing legal education in the areas of negligence and auto law, which means the insurance companies know his name and reputation.
David Christensen and his team won one of the largest Michigan jury trial awards ever when his client received $17.8 million after a severe car accident left her with a traumatic brain injury. He has successfully represented thousands of injured motorists and rarely looses to an insurance company.
His success as a trial attorney can best be measured by his clients’ satisfaction. He maintains a 10.0 out of 10 rating on AVVO, including five star reviews from a number of happy clients.
When you ask other attorneys who the best lawyer is, David Christensen rises to the top of the list. In 2012 he was one of only 25 attorneys to be named a “Leader in the Law” by Michigan Lawyer’s Weekly. He has also been named one of the “Best Lawyers in America” by the U.S. News and World Report and maintains the highest rating on Martindale-Hubbell. David has also received many other awards:
An active member of his community, David is a strong advocate in favor of Michigan’s No-Fault insurance law. He is the Chairman of the Michigan Association for Justice’s no-fault committee and has testified before the Michigan legislature against bills that would weaken this state’s protections of injured motorists.
He also served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for HelpSource Agency in Washtenaw County, a private non-profit serving people with substance abuse problems, teen mothers, and children. David also served on the Washtenaw Council of Alcoholism and the Board of Directors for Spectrum Prevention Services in Ann Arbor.
