She manages the day to day policies and procedures to keep the office running smoothly and is the main contact for anything dealing with our computer system, including dealing one on one with the technicians and account representatives on the programs we use, both in trouble shooting and improving the way we use them, to make the system more efficient.

Her other role is as David Christensen and Sarah Stempky Kime’s legal assistant. Michelle is in charge of keeping the files moving smoothly through the course of litigation, including scheduling everything from client meetings to court hearings. What I love most about working at Christensen Law is we care about our clients and work well as a team to make sure we’re doing the very best to ensure our clients are happy with the results at the end. We try to take a very stressful situation and be a support system for the people we represent throughout the entire process.”

Before joining David Christensen, Michelle worked for a personal injury firm in White Lake for almost 8 years as a legal assistant, paralegal, and supervisor.  She started out her career in 2000 working for a small law firm in Big Rapids as a receptionist and transcriptionist while she was in graduate school. Altogether, she has over 15 years of experience in law office administration. During that time she has handled many areas of the law, including Auto Negligence, No-Fault, Medical Malpractice, Criminal, Divorce, Child Support/Custody, Civil Rights, Employment, Workers Compensation, and Social Security Disability.

To back up her experience, Michelle received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 2000, and a Master’s of Science Degree in Information Systems Management in 2002 with an emphasis in qualitative management, both from Ferris State University.
